Maintenance Electrician 16th EditionrnrnOur internationally renowned client in Motherwell has an urgent requirement for a Time – Served Maintenance Electrician (16th Edition) to commence an initial contract position leading to permanent employment.rnrnMain purpose of the position is to carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance and repair of Plant, Equipment and Services within all areas of our clients Facility.rnrnMain ResponsibilitiesrnrnYou will be responsible for the electronic and electrical aspects of:- CNC machine tools, Manual Machines, \“Welding\”:http://apprenticeship.ws Equipment, Overhead Cranes, 415/240/110 distribution systems, installation and testing, Portable Appliance Testing.rnrnYou will ensure up-time measures for Plant & Equipment are met by ensuring timely and efficient resolution of plant issues.rnrnYou will have served a recognised apprenticeship and have over 3 years post \“apprenticeship\”:http://apprenticeship.ws experience preferably within a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment. *HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred, 16th Edition IEE qualified.*rnrnYou will have a basic working knowledge of mechanical systems, good manual dexterity and an ability to work at heights, good knowledge of CNC controls e.g. Siemens, Fanuc etc.rnrnOur client operate a shift system for which a shift premium applies, once you have gain suitable facility knowledge you will commence on a weekend working rota.
