Our client is market leader in the central battery units, UPS Systems and emergency lighting sector. They are currently looking to recruit a Test Engineer to join their existing team based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Job Title
You will be employed as a Test Engineer working from our client?s production facility in Sheffield. The position is full time and permanent. The position would suit a person currently working in an electrical production environment involved in final test of product.
Description
The position would involve working in the test department of a busy manufacturing facility. The role will involve all the final testing of electrical panels built for the UPS industry. These panels are bespoke and therefore experience in a similar environment is essential.
Skills
HND Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
High level of competence and understanding of final testing of electrical control panels.
Experience in final test of product in a similar environment.
Able to work to deadlines
Competent with schematics
Area
Based within easy commutable distance to Sheffield. The ideal candidate will be someone who is happy to work in a production environment.
Package
Salary would be ?20,000 - ?25,000, with some flexibility, given experience and skills base.
Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per year, some of which must be taken on pre-defined dates (eg. Bank Holidays).
