Due to expanding business they are now seeking a multi-skilled electrical engineer for their production facilities based near Cardiff.You will be play an important role including service maintenance and installation of complex laundry equipment while on electrician training.

You should have good electrical and mechanical skills and have worked in a fast moving production environment.The company are interested in an electrical technician / electrician apprentice or someone with a few years experience.

Knowledge of PLC?s and fluid power systems would prove very useful.

They are now looking to recruit a Apprentice Engineer to specialise within fire prevention and detection systems.

For this position our client is looking for an approachable and enthusiastic candidate to train to become a Maintenance Engineer. You will be provided with a comprehensive apprenticeship electrician training programme and funding to undertake a Fire Industry Association course ? which means this is an excellent opportunity to develop your fire safety career.

As a Apprentice Engineer you’ll be responsible for helping to carry out planned preventative maintenance, system repairs and technical support as required at client sites throughout Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

Your duties will include:

- conducting maintenance checks on fire alarm and allied systems – repairing electrical faults on fire alarm and allied systems – liaising with clients on specific electrical problems – providing technical support to clients within the territory

To succeed as the Trainee Maintenance Engineer / Apprentice Maintenance Engineer you will need proven customer service skills, good technical ability and strong organisational skills. As well as your ability and desire to learn, and your good standard of education (ideally to A level or equivalent), you must also have a driving licence, strong interpersonal skills and a positive ?can do, will do? attitude.
