An established training centre in Kent, paying from ?27,000 to ?30,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) with 25 days of holiday, is looking for:
An experienced Electrical Engineer and/or Electronics Engineer instructor to join their Engineering team.

You must be:
-a time served Electrical engineer holding either a City & Guilds Part 3, HND, HNC or Degree minimum qualification.
-have lecturing or training experience in electrical engineering/electronics subjects (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent)
An NVQ Assessor and Verifier Awards (D32/33, D34, D36 or A1, V1) would also be highly beneficial
The successful electrical engineer will be required to plan and deliver on a number of engineering courses to city and guilds and NVQ requirements to apprentice electrical engineers.

The successful Engineer will fit the above requirements and be motivated to teach apprentice engineers to be successful in the electrical engineering industry.

Description:

Electronic/Electrical Engineer required to support busy automotive manufacture/test departments by keeping instrumentation/test rigs running and performing.

The proving department runs state of the art test rigs which test durability, fatigue, stress and performance of various engines and engine components and are critical to current projects meaning high up-time is essential. Your job will be to provide support to the Proving & Test departments by setting up the electrical/electronic side of the rigs and fault finding/fixing as required.

As a result, the ideal candidate will be experienced in the following:

Instrumentation
Electrical/Electronic build, fault find & repair to PCB level
Analogue/digital signal conversion

Any experience in the following would be a distinct advantage but is not essential:

Experience with engine harnesses
Three-phase experience
Experience of data logging/‘National Instruments’ hardware/software
