Due to further expansion, there exists within our organisation a fantastic opportunity for a number of Mechanical, Electrical and Aeronautical engineers to join our existing UK team in Broughton, Nr Chester.

Founded in 1986 by Dr. Peter Zieve, Electroimpact is an international company specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of complex multi-axis machines and automated tooling for the aircraft industry and is one of the largest systems integrators of aircraft assembly solutions in the World. A significant customer base with major airframe constructors provides Electroimpact with projects throughout the world including USA, Australia, Japan, Spain and the United Kingdom. From small R&D driven projects to jumbo jet final assembly jigs, Electroimpact has the capabilities to provide new and creative manufacturing solutions for the rapidly changing aircraft industry.

Electroimpact is an engineer driven organization, founded by an engineer for engineers and we are seeking individuals with strong communication skills coupled with a solid engineering background. We look for individuals who prefer to be involved in all aspects of a project and product lifecycle from system conceptualization to in-service application. With a strong history of engineers that build what they create; we look for people with the aptitude to design on the screen and apply in the field and currently employ over 350 engineers worldwide. We strive to hire the best people; remove barriers between them and our customer, and empower them with the tools to do their job. Working in an environment in which good engineering is more important than profit, we encourage our engineers to question existing designs, identify improvements and to come up with new innovative concepts and solutions.

We are specifically looking to recruit Electrical, Controls, Mechanical and Mechatronic engineers and have immediate vacancies for the following positions:-

Support Engineers:

Working within the Airbus Manufacturing facility at Broughton, near Chester, our support team provides on site engineering support for all of our bespoke CNC machines, fixtures and sub assemblies. This is much more than a ?fix it if it broken? position and we are looking for highly motivated, determined individuals who enjoy a challenge and are keen to get involved in all aspects of engineering to join our existing team. As a member of our support team you will play an instrumental role in ensuring uninterrupted wing assembly production by means of reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement. On support your ideas for optimizing a design can quickly become reality and directly contribute to improving machine reliability.

Successful applicants will be degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering and emphasis will be placed on practical adeptness and logical problem solving. Applications are welcome from both recent graduates and experienced engineers.

This position offers a sound foundation to progress into other areas of our business such as design, installation and product development.

Salary: ?24K – ?34K pa basic (Potential to earn ?30 – ?53K pa with shift allowance), subject to experience.
